Tour…thus far

_ Wednesday, September 9, 2009

The shows have been great, people have been so kind…overwhelmed by peoples kindness and support of creaturesque. Nurses and brunettes are wonderful tourmates, the nicest folks ever. Had a blast in the northeast and Midwest, now in the south. Got our first, much anticipated taste of the pulled pork today. The Shed in Mobile really treated us right. Thanks to all our family n friends — new n old — who have fed us or pointed us in the direction of good eats: it def preserves the sanity and beauty of the road experience! Hope everyone is well out there, eatin good and stayin happy. Long live the onset of fall.

Umm….what? Thank you Seattle.

Our beloved hometown worldwide blasting KEXP radio station charts their top 90.3 most played albums each week.  Last week, leading up to the release of our new full length baby Creaturesque, the chart told us this:

KEXP-Charts

It’s a really warm feeling to feel that our city is into our album.  That’s not to say we’re not convinced that someone is fucking with us. Because we are.  But don’t be afraid to request Creaturesque from their DJs all the same.  www.kexp.org. dj@kexp.org.  206-903-KEXP.  yep.

Bill clinton n korea

Bill Clinton going over to N Korea to be diplomatic USA hero and rescue Euna Lee and Laura Ling from a dark commie future of forced hard labor is one of the most compellingly awesome news stories in a long time.  And, this photo is incredible.

SC201

Our new album Creaturesque came out today!

We are very happy about this.  We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported us and this music along the way.  It has been so fun and fulfilling and surprising and educational, and we hope to bring our new material to you guys in your town on our next round of touring and leave you feeling good too.

And, we got some cool news back this week too regarding the release:  A) Each week our beloved local worldwide-reaching radio station KEXP releases their top 90 most played albums of the week.  Creaturesque was #1!?!  Even in a parallel universe we would not have expected that.  And, B) our album has been made available to buy digitally on Amazon, and we are currently #2 on the list of most bought albums.  Woah.  Um…..what.

Thank youuuuuuuu, Scott
